🌿During the month of March, FCD’s Environmental Educator along with the Belize Forest Department Officer Mr. Joshua Marin, conducted a series of educational farm visits in the Vaca Plateau, Cayo District with farmers who were sensitized and reminded of the importance of preventing forest fires, following all preventative guidelines and to practice no burning. During the visits posters and market bags with key messages on preventative methods were distributed amongst farmers to help increase knowledge.🍃
