FCD actively participated in the first National Protected Areas Managers Dialogue, which saw the attendance of 13 co-managers representing various regions of the country. The primary aim of this Dialogue was to enhance knowledge and understanding of Belize National Biodiversity Office‘s (NBIO) Plan of Action, fostering stronger partnerships through the exchange of information and identification of synergistic opportunities. FCD has been co-managing the expansive Chiquibul National Park, the largest terrestrial protected area, since 2007.
