January 06, 2015
  • Thanks to the support generated at the telethon, Government of Belize funds and through conservations foundations particularly the Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT), FCD has now selected and contracted 18 park rangers. These rangers are starting a rigorous training that will enable them to learn and develop the skills needed to conduct biodiversity conservation in the Chiquibul National Park.

We are also thankful to the more than 115 applicants from across Belize that submitted their application forms. Their commitment and interest to protect the biodiversity of the Chiquibul National Park has been impressive and inspiring.
